In 1985, Casey and Jennifer Boone opened the doors to what was then known as Paragon Sports in downtown Evergreen, Colorado. Their vision was to create more than just another outdoor store. They wanted to build a gathering place for friends, neighbors, and mountain lovers, a place where people could share their passion for the outdoors, learn from one another, and develop a deeper appreciation for Colorado’s mountain environment.

From the beginning, Casey and Jennifer surrounded themselves with knowledgeable, creative people who shared their love for the mountains. That spirit continues today. At Boone Mountain Sports, customers can expect more than a transaction. We believe great gear is important, but experience, knowledge, and genuine service are what make a mountain shop truly valuable.

Over the years, the Boone family grew alongside the business. Today, the next generation, including Megan, Logan, Kelsey, Riley, and members of the extended Boone family, has returned to Colorado to help carry the business forward. Together, we bring decades of experience and a fresh perspective to a rapidly changing outdoor industry.
